Antoinette Lattouf

A beautiful portrait of fired ABC journalist Antoinette Lattouf, by the always on-point, and wonderful artist Amanda Newman.

Lattouf was fired by the ABC purportedly because an Instagram story she posted violated ABC policy. However it is much more likely that it was due to her stance on the Israel-Palestine genocide that is occurring.

If we had more journalists with Antoinette's integrity and courage, and the media organisations with the will and courage to support them, our world would be a better place. The power of, and the danger to society of, a corrupted mainstream media cannot be overstated.

Please read Amanda's dialogue accompanying her post of this work, her words are far better than mine, but describe my position on the murder that is going on in Gaza very well.

As usual Amanda's support of good, strong people in her portraiture on the street is perfectly executed.
