Description
Commissioned by Townsville City Council in 2014, this mural by local artist, Kennie Deaner, combines traditional graffiti influences with a portrait of Captain William Howard Smith, a historical figure after whom the building was formerly named. Agora House was built in 1910-11 as the new offices for the Townsville branch of substantial Australian coastal shipping company, Howard Smith Company Ltd.
