Description

A colourful mural on the wall of the Loxcare Community Hub, painted by local artists with the assistance of community members. The Loxcare Community Hub building on Drabsch Street received the colourful makeover as part of a ‘placemaking’ grant from Department of Human Services. Loxcare co-ordinator Bev Scarfe said the aim of the mural was to “engage and include”, while also improving a tired building exterior and increasing access to the community centre. The mural features a river scene and local flora.
