L’artista reinterpreta in chiave moderna l’Ottavo Cielo, quello delle Stelle Fisse, dove risiedono le anime trionfanti e dove San Pietro interroga Dante sulla Fede, sul suo contenuto, sulla sua origine e sulle prove della sua verità. La lotta tra Fortuna, bendata e con in mano una cornucopia, e Psiche, al centro dell’opera, rappresenta, nel simbolismo di Neve, il contrasto tra fato e intelletto, un tema che l’artista ha scelto come il più adatto a raffigurare questo Cielo. Quest’opera fa parte del progetto “Le Cabine del Paradiso”.

The artist reinterprets in a modern key the Eighth Heaven, that of the Fixed Stars, where the triumphant souls reside and where Saint Peter questions Dante about the Faith, its content, its origin and the proof of its truth. The fight between Fortuna, blindfolded and holding a cornucopia, and Psyche, at the center of the work, represents, in Neve's symbolism, the contrast between fate and intellect, a theme that the artist chose as the most suitable to depict this Sky. This work is part of the “Le Cabine del Paradiso” project.
