Pigeons’ Mating Dance

Het kunstwerk Pigeons’ Mating Dance uit augustus 2026 aan de Mariniershof is gemaakt door de kunstenaar Eveline Schram.

Schram werd geïnspireerd door de duiven die ze voor haar raam zag. De twee verliefde duiven die ze uiteindelijk schilderde vormen een kunstwerk dat een boodschap van liefde, verbinding en vrede wil uitdragen. De mural kwam tot stand in samenwerking met Rewriters010 en All Caps Rotterdam.

Eveline Schram is een Roterdamse kunstenaar die bekend staat om haar kleurrijke, heldere en grafische stijl. Ze maakt zowel autonoom werk als werk in opdracht. Murals van haar hand zijn onder meer te zien in Rotterdam, Alkmaar en Breda.

The artwork Pigeons’ Mating Dance, installed at the Mariniershof in August 2026, was created by the artist Eveline Schram.

Schram was inspired by the pigeons she saw outside her window. The two pigeons in love that she eventually painted form a work of art intended to convey a message of love, connection and peace. The mural was created in collaboration with Rewriters010 and All Caps Rotterdam.

Eveline Schram is a Rotterdam-based artist known for her colourful, vibrant and graphic style. She creates both independent work and commissioned pieces. Her murals can be seen in Rotterdam, Alkmaar and Breda, amongst other places.
