Commissioned by the Timaru District Council, the artwork is within the Geraldine Domain on a building bordering the Geraldine Swimming Pool. Superimposed on negative colours is the word Dream, with colours abounding in imagination, awe, wonder, and future. A boy is depicted dreaming to be a pilot, and a little girl dreaming to be a mermaid.

The artwork was officially donated by the Donkers family on 6 November 2020.
