Description
Bier en Brood creates a reapting form that evolves the illusion of infinity and impossibilty. It is inspired by Escher's work of mathematical madness on display at Escher in The Palace.
Escher applies concepts such as the Mobius strip with its infinite loop, the Penrose triangle with its impossible geometry and the Necker cube, blurring the boundery between foreground and background.

During the first lock down in 2020 street art crossed my path. I was amazed by the quality and the effect on the environment. Since then, street art has stuck with me. I regularly give guided tours along street art in the center of The Hague and over the Binckhorst.
