Mariana Duarte Santos created this work for MurArcos 2023. It's about the local cows/bulls (Cachena) and the traditional attire of the women who guided them. This painting was based on a picture from Artur Pastor, a photographer who portrayed the whole of Portugal from the 50s to the 80s and whose work has served as inspiration for a number of her murals!
