Entering Nuth from the highway or train station it's inevitable going though the 'gates of Nuth'. These highway viaducts are transformed by Han Rameckers into colorful artworks.
The piece consists of planes in lots of colors brought on by using a paint roller.
Using colored planes is both characteristic for this artist as it is functional. As Han Rameckers states 'Should there be any damage, read graffiti, you can simply paint over it in the same style. The artwork then changes minimally and the total image becomes richer'.
I wonder if this 'painting over' is done by anyone, since there is a lot of vandalising graffiti on this piece already (see photos).
