Interactive Noen Mural #17
Description
This is the 17th installation of this kind for Spidertag. There is no deeper message behind his #INMs (Interactive Neon Mural). Rather, the arrangement of the neons is based on the principles of geometry and colour composition, each of which creates an expressive balance and harmony. Individual elements can be controlled by the viewer via an app. A QR code on the wall gives you access to the neons. This can be used, for example, to change the colours of certain tubes live.

Sven Niemann is a PhD student at the Institute for German Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Paderborn. His research interests are political graffiti, protest language and forms of minimal writing in public space. Since 2014 he has been leading public graffiti tours for the tourist information office in Paderborn. As a team member of the Secret City Fassadenfestival, he promotes the visibility of urban art in his adopted home of Paderborn.
