Louis Antoine de Saint-Just

Louis Antoine de Saint-Just was a politician during the French Revolution. Renowned for his eloquence, he was elected deputy for the Aisne region in 1792, of which Laon was the capital. He was known for his uncompromising principles advocating equality and virtue, as well as for the effectiveness of his missions. A staunch supporter of Robespierre, he was guillotined at the age of 26.
