Skate Park

Skatepark Sweatshop

Description

The skatepark Sweatshop is situated in a cul-de-sac running perpendicular to the main avenue, Binckhorstlaan, with the Fokker Terminal car park on the right-hand side; at the far end of this car park is a wall which was covered until recently with a mural depicting the ‘Flying Lady’ (the mural no longer exists). The skatepark is located on the other side of this wall.

It comprises an outdoor area with a few (unused) skate ramps, and a large hall whose walls are decorated with murals. The outdoor courtyard also houses workshops and containers, separated from the hall. The skatepark is open during specific time slots.

You can see current (and historic works) of Skatepark Sweatshop here.

Hunter

Mond_00F
I've been hunting street art for 7 years purely for the joy of photography. Most of my photos are taken in The Hague (Netherlands) and Nice (France) but wherever I come across a nice street art mural, I add it in my personal collection. However, taking pictures only makes sense if one can share them...So I'm glad to be now a hunter of the Street Art Cities community !
