In beweging (In Motion)

De muurschildering van de Utrechtse kunstenaar Cika Annemae is op het Langeveldgebouw van de Universiteit Utrecht.

De schildering toont een slak die over een koffiekopje kruipt.

In het ontwerp is een gedicht verwerkt van student Lucas Meijer Galan, geïnspireerd door zijn onderzoek naar de samenwerking en trage besluitvorming binnen de universiteit. De slak en het koffiekopje verbeelden op speelse wijze de stroperige overlegcultuur.

Het werk is onderdeel van een initiatief om het Utrecht Science Park levendiger en aantrekkelijker te maken.

The mural by Utrecht artist Cika Annemae is located on the Langeveld Building at Utrecht University. It depicts a snail crawling over a coffee cup.

The design incorporates a poem by student Lucas Meijer Galan, inspired by his research into collaboration and slow decision-making within the university. The snail and coffee cup playfully symbolise the slow pace of discussions and decision-making.

The artwork is part of an initiative to make Utrecht Science Park a livelier and more attractive place.

slowly, a thought moves past the backs of chairs

through remarks and pointing fingers

past coffee cups, worktables and feedback

Here you let the sun shine on the improbable
