Friendship between Romania and the Republic of Poland

This is the first mural on an apartment building in Bucharest.

The project marks the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between the Republic of Poland and Romania. The mural symbolically reflects the goodwill of the Romanian people who helped Polish people that were forced to leave their country during World War II.

It was created by young Polish artists from the Gdańsk School of Mural Painting (SPMG)—Justyna Posiecz-Polkowska, Anna Taut, and Wojciech Woźniak—under the guidance of Rafał Roskowiński and Jacek Zdybel.
