LOVE

Description

Painted in 2026 as part of the Safe to Be project, program of activities by the local (Blue Mountains) council designed to prevent gender-focused hate and harassment and build social cohesion.

Notes by the artist: "Safety remains a major issue for many women around the world - whether in public spaces or within their own homes. This mural simply reads LOVE, a word that holds more power than we often realise.
With this piece, I wanted to highlight that love is at the heart of a peaceful and supportive life - love for ourselves, love for family and friends, and love for our wider community. When communities are strong and compassionate, we are better able to support those who are going through difficult times.
Today I want to thank you all fabulous women who lift others up, practice compassion and aren’t afraid to show love wherever they go. Keep shining your light so others can follow. Happy international women’s day!!!"
