This mural was created as part of the fourth edition of the Urban Arts Festival in Laon.
Bryan Beyung is a Chinese-Cambodian artist living in Canada. His work lies at the crossroads of neo-muralism, post-graffiti and contemporary painting. He transforms public spaces into places for visual and social reflection. Drawing inspiration from photography, graphic design and urban culture, he transforms everyday objects, images and memories into visual narratives that intertwine personal memory and collective history.
This large mural by Bryan Beyung is very different from the one on another wall of the Triangle community centre and quite different from what the artist usually produces. It shows another facet of his inspiration.
