Description

After learning of Acquedolci's connection to water, Angelo Crazyone imagined a new mythology. This is how the face of Agave, a water nymph, came to life. Her gaze preserves the profound connection between our land, the sea, and our water springs.

The work was created from a large plastic stencil made by joining together smaller squares of pre-prepared plastic; the stencil was then hung on the wall.

Looking closely, you'll notice that each "pixel" forming the face has a distinctive shape which is coherent with the theme of the work itself.

StreetArt Acquedolci
"Street Art Acquedolci" is an art and tourism promotion event sponsored by the Pro Loco Acquedolci APS Tourist Association to disseminate art throughout the streets of the city center. The first mural in Acquedolci was created in the early 1980s. The organizers subsequently developed a pilot initiative for 2016, with the aim of developing art itineraries and engaging residents and artists, with ever-changing approaches over the years.
