Commissioned for Waminda to capture the essence of what the murals portray, these artworks honour the 2018 NAIDOC theme "Because of her we can". It is an acknowledgement to grandmothers, mothers and aunties before us, those now and those to come, and to recognise the resilience and resistance for their culture to continue.
