The Graffiti Hall of Fame at Rheinpark Duisburg is one of the most culturally significant legal spray walls in the Ruhr area. It stretches across the massive concrete ore bunker walls left behind by the former iron and steel works.
The wall gained legendary status in June 2009 during a mega-street art event held alongside the German Skateboarding Championship. Sponsored by the brand Molotow, around 65 local and international graffiti icons (including Loomit, MadC, Soten, and Kacao77) sprayed massive, high-caliber murals across nine major wall segments spanning roughly 4,800 square meters.
Ever since, the city kept it as a legal, free-to-use wall, making it a continuously evolving, vibrant open-air gallery where artists could showcase their skills without fear of legal consequences.
Due to the multi-year reconstruction for the IGA 2027 (International Garden Exhibition), the entire Rheinpark—including the Hall of Fame—is currently fully fenced off and closed to the public.
