This small mural is a portrait of Frisian painter Laurens Alma-Tadema, who lived in the building opposite to it. Alma-Tadema was a key inspiration for both works Sjoerd created in Leeuwarden. You can find this colorful Alma-Tadema in the Uniabuurt neighborhood in Leeuwarden.
The mural was made by Sjoerd Jansen (aka Studio Anti-Held) for the 'Oude Markten Street Art Takeover', organized by Writer's Block Murals.
