A celebration of well-known local woman Stella Chamberlain, who was the first female life member of the Waimate Rugby Club. She is portrayed washing the Waimate senior rugby side's jerseys for 35 years, doing so in a traditional way of washing by hand and then wringed on the clothesline. All thirteen of her children played netball and rugby for the town, with jersey number 2 belonging to her son Barry.
