Description

A mural by street artist Bambookidd on the corner of All Saints Road and Lancaster Road.

The artist often paints cultural icons, musicians (particularly from the reggae, dub and sound system scenes) and expressive portraits. This mural pays tribute to three influential and iconic figures from British and Jamaican reggae, dub and sound system culture: Daddy Vego (Barrington Von Adams), who opened the iconic record shop People’s Sound Records in 1988, located near the mural on All Saints Road; Cleveland “Likkle Dread”; and Michael Prophet (Michael George Haynes).
