Castellammare di Stabia is a small Italian town in the suburb of Naples (southern Italy). The city is known for its ancient baths and its 28 water sources which have been used for various health treatments for centuries. The springs have proved to be healthy until today, however, the baths have been closed and have been rotting for years but no one knows why no one has done anything about it. " - MTO

MTO, aka Mateo, is a Graffiti artist, video-maker, and muralist from France. He started working as MTO in 2008 in Berlin where he lived from 2006 to 2013. His style was characterized by Black&White&Red realistic paintings made with spray cans. He then evolved towards muralism with more conceptual and political works, not necessarily figurative, which can be found on a giant scale and on façades all over the world.
