'Which is your favorite book and why? Since I like Comics, I would say โMausโ from Art Spiegelman and โBlack Holeโ from Charles Burns. In classic literature, the novel โ100 years of solitudeโ by Gabriel Garcia Marquez had a great impact on me when I was a teenager.' 2021 interview https://www.eatmy.news/2021/08/alex-senna-focus-on-producing-art-not.html

"...there are two moments that are very important to me. One, is when I changed my style to only black and white. Black and white was very natural to me, I never liked colors, just was using because when I first start painting outside I was very influenced by graffiti style. So when I changed, it was natural and after that I never used colors in the characters anymore. The second, it was when I quit my job and dedicated full time to art. Time is the key. When you know how to use time, you can produce a lot, and thats what I did. I painted a lot." 2019 interview https://streetartnews.net/2019/10/artist-interview-alex-senna.html

I'm retired, travel a lot, read books from everywhere we go, get confused quickly in a few different languages, and post mural photos every day to Instagram @uclamikefranks. Then I write the artists to see if I got anything wrong. It's a fun hobby and gets me out on the streets.
