The ideal city of Ivory Coast

Description

Part of the open air Tony Garnier museum in the United States neighborhood.

Inspired by traditional African bark paintings, this painted wall evokes the close relationships between man and natural and supernatural forces. Observe for example the African hut, symbol of protection. The totem columns loaded with animist symbols recall the creation of the world, good and evil. Youssouf Bath made the original drawing of this painting.
