L’opera rappresenta il partigiano Antonio Realini del battaglione “Augusto” che, a soli 18 anni, perse la vita, il 12 aprile del 1945, durante uno scontro armato con i nazifascisti nei boschi dell’Alpe Cardello. La rappresentazione si inserisce in un progetto più ampio che vuole fare di Gravellona la città dei murales dedicati al tema della resistenza.

The work depicts partisan Antonio Realini of the "Augusto" battalion who, at only 18 years old, lost his life on April 12, 1945, during an armed clash with Nazi-Fascists in the woods of Alpe Cardello.
