Crumbling Future

“Crumbling Future”  is part of the "Silk City Gallery" and the Krefeld change of perspective under the artistic direction of Fredda Wouters from Kevelaer.

Franziska Weitzel is a stage painter at the municipal theater and thus has a home game, so to speak, because the silk weaver's house is only a few meters away from her workplace. She always had that gray lump in front of her nose, and I'm sure she often itched her fingers to embellish the “Seidenweberhaus” with her colors.

Now she has had the opportunity, and she has dared to look into the future.
It shows how the ravages of time are gnawing at the silk weaver's house and how the facade is cracking open. It worked very well, but personally I would have used chipped corners because the decay would have become even more transparent, but this should not be a criticism! And nature breaks through, proving that everything we humans have created will all disappear one day!
