"The idea for the design of this mural came from the name of the city Ghent and the current state of our times.
R-Gent is a wordplay, with the letter “R” flipped backwards as a visual metaphor for how the world feels upside down today. So much is happening, and so much is being left behind… Letting go or not, that’s the question.
The loop on the left serves as a reminder that things often tend to come full circle."
