The Artist: 
Lucamaleonte was born in Rome in 1983, the city where he lives and works. 
After graduation from the capital's Central Institute for Restoration, the artist made his first works on the walls of Rome. The history of art and in particular classicism are a notable source of inspiration for the artist. Who over the years mainly linked his presence to images of plants and animals, because of his deeply rooted interest for the iconographic prints found in literature on zoology and botany. Re­markable is the passion for medieval bestiaries, an interest shared with Hitnes, a fellow Roman artist with whom he collaborated in the creation of Catalog (2013), a sample of plant species and fantasty animals painted on the walls of an underpass in Via delle Gonce in Rome. - currently repainted gray. 
Animal shapes are often inserted within specular compositions that symbolically return a sense of ge­ometry and balance to nature, a sort of living parallel to the classic icosahedron, which often appears at the center of these works. In the last period Lucamaleonte proposes new solutions that provide for the temporary abandonment of the stencil in favor of a freehand painting, functional to the amplifi­cantion of the surface of his masonry works, even on entire facades. 
The Mural: 
Luca's intent is to 11catalog11 the animal universe. It is a representation of all the species of birds that populate Livorno and that continue to thrive thanks to the presence of vital green spaces, such as the small oasis of the Bosco dei Cappuccini. 
Lucamaleonte1s 11Catalog11 mural represents the launch of the 11Bosco in citta11 initiative for the rede­velopment and enhancement of biodiversity, supported by the Murali Association, by the Municipality of Livorno, which for the occasion restored the perimeter wall and by the technical sponsors of the initiative: GV3 Venpa, Sikkens Color, Non solo Bagno and Piccolo Birrificio Clandestino. 
The work is part of a broader redevelopment project, which involved children from the Carlo Bini Ele­mentary Schools and the students of the Colombo-Vespucci Art School in various activities within the park, with the aim of educating them to respect environment and increase their responsibility towards the nature and management of resources. The project, which took place between the end of 2019 and 2021, during the Covid crisis, was carried out with the extraordinary contribution of the Municipality of Livorno granted to the Murali Association in a network with other neighborhood realities such as Vivi Borgo, Lipu, Asa, Quartieri Uniti Eco-solidali, GreenCity Treks, the Carlo Bini Elementary School, the Colombo-Vespucci Art School, Studio Bonsai Livorno and Livorno Artistica.
