The tunnels are dark and challenging, which is why the artist felt it necessary to add plenty of color. The concept is simply tied to the location itself. People walk and cycle there—requiring shoes and a bicycle—so that became the central theme. The result is a sort of brochure or signpost, but with a fresh twist.
