The KunstLichtTore Bochum project is a creative lighting concept in the public spaces of the city of Bochum. It transforms 16 railway bridges around the city center into luminous city gates through artistic light installations.

Colorful in violet, red, green, blue, orange, and white, there are 30 of them. Like arrows, they point toward the Schauspielhaus, thus providing direction. Above all, however, they are meant to draw attention: The number one stands for the pinnacle, the unique, the indivisible, but also for the point where everything converges.
