Description

Ponte de Lima inaugurated an Urban Art mural in homage to Zé Micamé, an emblematic figure of the town in the 60s and 70s.

Zé Micamé aka José Manuel Dantas Melo (1948 – 1975) was “a nonconformist and poetic soul, averse to conventions, but deeply generous and human". He passed away in the prime of his life, but he was also an artist who expressed himself in an original way, especially through wood sculpture and photography.

You can find it along de camino, on a pilar of the Ponte da Nossa Senhora da Guia / N201.
