Inextricable

A mural of an Aboriginal serpent that weaves through the backdrop of the Southern Cross and a block of letters spelling out Liverpool.

Liverpool is a proud multicultural activity, with a First Nations heritage reaching back more than 40,000 years. My work shows the serpent representing the Aboriginal history, weaving through the word Liverpool to acknowledge the First Nations custodians of this land.

The colourful block letters making up the word Liverpool represent the many cultures of our community and the new lives being built here by our newest arrivals.
