A Journey Through Gentle Roots

Description

Artist Loes van Reijmersdal brought her art to the shutters of bike and scooter store Bourguignon during the Street Art Takeover for Writers Block.

Loes: "This painting is inspired by the heritage of Leeuwarden, where my focus turned to the story of the central apothecary. Here, healing flowers and herbs embody the subtle force of nature’s medicine.
This is woven into the core of my artistic practice, capturing the powerful essence of nature’s restorative energy.
In the background, a soft sketch of Leeuwarden appears, illustrating the enduring connection between nature and humanity."

==========
