This mural captures the joy that children show in creating their own games with boxes, carts, and anything that moves. At the same time, it forces one to consider that children have been pawns in the migration conflict along the US/Mexico border. There's a darkness underneath their movement here, a suggestion of the "play" not being so innocent and lighthearted. This mural, like several painted in the last 10 years in Segundo Barrio, express the rage, sadness, and heartbreak of US government policies involving migrant children.
