The Belgian graffiti and street artist Derm is known for his highly detailed, vibrant and often mechanical or cartoon-like illustrations, full of dynamism.
This work was created in August 2020 during the Dordrecht edition of the international graffiti and street art festival 'Meeting of Styles’. Numerous pillars and walls around the Zwijndrechtse brug and the adjacent skate park were transformed as part of this.
The festival theme was ‘Visions of the Future’, for which Derm created a futuristic, militarised ‘monster truck’ or combat vehicle. The vehicle is packed with ammunition and mechanical elements, rendered in a distinctive blue-and-orange colour palette.
