The façade of the Parish of San Gonzalo has been transformed into a large mural inspired by the traditional tiles of Triana, reinterpreting this ceramic language in a large-scale pictorial format. Cobalt blue and white tones predominate, along with floral ornamental details that frame the composition.
The artwork commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Congregation of the Mission (1625–2025) under the motto “Good News and Charity,” visually reflecting its evangelizing and social work throughout the centuries.
The mural features Saint Vincent de Paul and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, set against a background of clouds that lends unity and spiritual symbolism. The composition combines realistic figures with a decorative treatment inspired by traditional ceramics, creating a piece that connects heritage, local identity, and a contemporary message.
The Sevillian artist Kato was born in the Triana neighborhood and grew up seeing the ceramics and pottery businesses every day on his way to school for many years. It is something he always liked and now wants to integrate it into his murals in the Triana neighborhood, as a memory and tribute to give more voice to these tiles.

La fachada de la Parroquia de San Gonzalo se convierte en un gran mural inspirado en la tradición de los azulejos de Triana, reinterpretando este lenguaje cerámico en formato pictórico a gran escala. Predominan los tonos azul cobalto y blanco, junto a detalles ornamentales de carácter floral que enmarcan la composición.
La obra conmemora el 400 aniversario de la Congregación de la Misión (1625–2025) bajo el lema “Buena Noticia y Caridad”, reflejando visualmente su labor evangelizadora y social a lo largo de los siglos.
El mural presenta a San Vicente de Paúl y a la Virgen de la Milagrosa, integrados en un fondo de nubes que aporta unidad y simbolismo espiritual. La composición combina realismo en las figuras con un tratamiento decorativo inspirado en la cerámica tradicional, generando una pieza que conecta patrimonio, identidad local y mensaje contemporáneo.
El artista sevillano Kato, nació en el barrio de Triana y creció viendo los negocios de la ceramica y alfareria cada dia camino al colegio durante muchos años, es algo que siempre le gustó y ahora quiere integrar en sus murales en el barrio de Triana, como recuerdo y homenaje para dar mas voz a estos azulejos.
