"On tap" in Reservoir was painted for the Darebin Council Reservoir Revitalisation program, the design incorporates elements that reflect on the history and future of the area as well as local native flora and fauna. Hayden Dewar says of his piece;
"Upon seeing the narrow laneway that the wall faces I thought this would be a great opportunity to paint another anamorphic, or optical illusion style mural (my third).
I was very lucky to have my amazing daughter allow me to paint her likeness on this wall.
The history of the suburb as it relates to Melbourne's water supply is referenced in the mural and also used as a metaphor for the future.
Perched on my critter loving daughter's hand is a Corella -- a native bird that flocks to the nearby Edwardes lake park."
