The artist's inspiration for the title came from Truman Capote's novel. Nobell formally debuted this body of work under the title Unspoiled Monsters at the Bendixen Gallery in Denmark in late 2014 but later on was asked to produce a few murals in the Stockholm's suburb called Bargarmossen. He used the same title for the street art on the walls and tunels in the area.
At first look, his paintings look pleasant because he uses soft, pretty pastel colors. However, when you look closer, the pictures show strange, surreal landscapes. They are sopposed to tell stories about a futuristic, tough world where unusual creatures and plants must adapt to survive.
