Street Art Cities

Artist Manuel Alániz from Nicaragua created these panels together with students from the Schildersvakopleiding Tilburg (Tilburg Painting School) on behalf of the Tilburg-Matagalpa City Partnership.
The left-hand section is about the ‘fruits of the earth’ that we can harvest.
The right-hand section is about the threats: animals are dying out and the earth is becoming uninhabitable.
Let us cherish what is dear to us and choose a sustainable future.

Het linkerdeel gaat over de ‘vruchten der aarde’die wij kunnen oogsten.
Het rechterdeel gaat over de bedreigingen: dieren sterven uit en de aarde wordt onleefbaar.
Laten we koesteren wat ons dierbaar is en kiezen voor een duurzame toekomst.
