The Devil’s Blues

“The Devil’s Blues”
We were delighted to recently be invited by Jordache @its.jordache to visit @mayne.line studios to discuss his art and future plans for the artistic space (follow them both for upcoming exhibitions and events) whilst we were there we couldn’t help admiring this stunning canvas and hear the insight behind this piece....🙏
“The night before I did it, I watched a documentary on Robert Johnson, the godfather of blues. Everybody said he sold his souls to the devil to be able to play like he did....The next morning I went into the studio and played Robert Johnson and painted that...I call that piece “The Devils Blues”
