This mural is a tribute to George Floyd but also to all the victims of discrimination, violence and all those who have been condemned for their skin colour, ethnicity and race.

Julien Crevaels, who works under the artist name NovaDead, is a Belgian-Congolese artist. He draws his inspiration from childhood memories, influenced by ancient African traditions. From his fascination with the cosmos and the laws of the universe, he illustrates his characters in a style that ranges from figurative to abstract. Equatorial fauna and flora also frequently appear in his works.
