The Green Man is a legendary creature that is primarily interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, and represents a cycle of new growth that occurs every spring. The green man is most often depicted in a sculpture or other depiction of a face that is made up of leaves or completely surrounded by leaves. For me, the Green Man, in the context of this mural, represents the birth of ecological consciousness. We, unfortunately, live in one of the most polluted cities in the world. Sarajevo, but also many parts of BiH, are over-polluted in winter and very harmful to the health of their inhabitants. It is time to address these issues.
Mural elements such as; windmills, solar panels, call for the awakening of environmental awareness!I believe that we humans are the main drivers of change in this world. They can be good or bad. I think the main change is the one that needs to come from within, at the level of consciousness. Do we want a better future for this country? In that case, it is very important that each of us, in relation to our capabilities, start contributing to our community. The topics of environmental protection, biodiversity, energy efficiency are still quite new in our
country, but they are very important, because the greatest treasures of this country and the planet Earth in general are natural resources. From personal experience, I can say that my life is much more beautiful, calmer and its understanding is much deeper than the moment when I accepted nature as one of the most important parts of my being and my consciousness. She is a living organism full of
intentions and she has her own consciousness, of which we are a part. We need to understand our role much better. Man is not the ruler of nature, although he behaves that way. We are a small part, one big organism. The way we treat nature is a reflection of our inner, spiritual state. Mankind is in a dream And in great pain. The moment has come, I hope, to start waking up!
