Verz is a veteran of the street art scene in Belfast and has operated professionally in the city for many years taking workshops and more recently as a guide for Seedhead Arts Street Art Walking Tours. His personal practice in recent years has focused almost entirely on dogs. Much of this looks at the concept of so called ‘dangerous dogs,’ but in this case it’s a portrait of his own dog as a puppy.

 Sleep’s Not Come was what his kids would say to him when they couldn’t get to sleep, and this piece is about how with the arrival of this new dog, he was keeping them up all night too.
