The history of this piece begins in 2015 when KVLR painted a day-go Mad Hatter with a menagerie of weirdness coming out of his head as part of that year’s hit the North. However, despite the festival securing permission before work commenced, as the image appeared, so did the owner of the 2nd and 3rd floor part of the wall, and he wasn’t a fan. After some negotiation the Mad Hatter managed to hang on for a year, until KVLR replaced it with a new design more to their taste. Both pieces were/are amazing.
