Spradio ga ga

Description

This mural on Redcross Way was created by the British artist CEPT (@cept_trp), known for his work with the TRP collective. CEPT combines classic graffiti lettering with influences from Pop Art and Marvel comics from the 1980s. His characters often feature thick black outlines and a retro-futuristic look. He also draws heavy inspiration from music; he regularly names his work or themes after cult tracks by bands such as Joy Division, The Smiths and The Verve.

This particular piece fits perfectly within the ‘galactic comic style’ for which TRP and CEPT are known and dates from December 2025. He had previously used the same image for a piece he called Spradio ga ga.
