Alliance

Diese Arbeit entstand im Rahmen von MURAL CITY 2026 in Bremen, unter dem Motto „Beauty of Science". Elf Artists gestalteten elf Fassaden, jede mit einer Verbindung zu einem Forschungsfeld aus der Stadt.

Spoare kommt aus dem klassischen Style-Writing. Über die Jahre nahmen Komposition, Dynamik und das Wechselspiel aus Farbe, Form und Überlagerung eine immer tragendere Rolle. Buchstaben verbinden sich und lösen sich auf, es entstehen grafische Ebenen, die sich zu einem Bild mit Tiefe schichten. So verbildlicht das Werk „Alliance“ die Verbindung der Standorte Bremen und Oldenburg: Aus den Logofarben Rot und Blau, einem starken Kontrast, entsteht in der Überlagerung Violett, eine Symbiose und ein Spiegel der Zusammenarbeit. 

Beim MURAL CITY – Beauty of Science schlägt Spoares Arbeit eine Brücke zur Northwest Alliance. Die großen Fragen unserer Zeit beantwortet man nicht allein, sondern kooperativ und über Grenzen hinweg.

This mural was created during MURAL CITY 2026 in Bremen, Germany, under the theme "Beauty of Science". Eleven artists painted eleven façades, each connected to a field of research based in the city.

Spoare comes from classic style writing. Over the years, composition, dynamics and the interplay of colour, form and overlay took on an ever more central role. Letters connect and dissolve, forming graphic layers that stack into an image with depth. In this way the work "Alliance" pictures the connection between the sites of Bremen and Oldenburg: from the two logo colours, red and blue, a strong contrast, their overlap yields violet, a symbiosis and a mirror of the collaboration. 

Within MURAL CITY – Beauty of Science, Spoare's work builds a bridge to the Northwest Alliance. The great questions of our time cannot be answered alone, but through cooperation across borders.
