Those who cross the Van Praet Bridge from Laeken can not miss the latest wall painting of the Street Art trail. At the start of the Lambermontlaan, a giant black crow now welcomes you to Schaerbeek. Although the wall just belongs to the territory of Brussels City.
CityDev bought the building at the foot of the bridge and gave Brussels-based Sozyone permission to take over the outside wall. The new fresco gives color to an entrance gate that rages in banality.
"Urban art can be an efficient tool to revive a neighborhood. It is ultimately our goal that the frescoes highlight the cultural dynamics of the city," said Benjamin Cadranel of CityDev.
