On a building belonging to Žilinskas Art Gallery on Kęstutis Street, you can find a mural depicting David who is about to kill a giant Goliath by throwing a slingshot. David‘s target is an abandoned “Britanika” hotel on the side, it’s carcass never lived up to the day of any guests staying in it. The statuesque fourteen level height building symbolises the gigantism and ambitions of the Soviet Union. The building of it began in 1986 but soon it turned into ruins and has been "decorating" the city centre since.
