Jaba created this mural for the POW!WOW! Rotterdam 2019 edition. He had chosen a design for this wall, but just three days before he started painting he changed his mind because his girlfriend felt an other design was more fitting for the wall. Problem was the colors had already been selected and delivered, so he had to get creative with that. He had to improvise and choose the colors he would use as he was going along.
The design looks futuristic and historic at the same time, with references to south-american culture, but it is based on a photo he took off workers during their lunchbreak. For this painting Jaba was assisted by his Singaporese friend Song.
The artist dedicated this mural to his friend Engsu Lee, who sadly passed away while the paintwork was going on.
